THE GALVANI SYSTEM
Galvani has developed a neuromodulation platform with components that are suitable for modulating multiple nerve targets. The implantable components are designed to be inserted via a minimally invasive laparoscopic procedure with the intent to reduce patient discomfort and recovery times.
The Galvani System is an investigational device, and is not available for sale. The Galvani System is limited by Federal (or United States) law to investigational use.

THE PATIENT EXPERIENCE
The Galvani system is designed to provide effective, reliable, and simple therapy
Initial Consultation
Patients discuss and agree with their treatment physician to have a Galvani therapy prescribed.
Get the Implant
The Galvani system is laparoscopically implanted during an outpatient procedure by a trained surgeon.
Follow-up Visit
Once implanted, the Galvani system is programmed by the treatment physician. The Clinician Programmer allows physicians to set therapy levels and schedules, and view logs of past activity.
Control the System
Patients control their system through use of a Patient Remote. This remote allows individuals to view therapy schedules, check Implant battery life, pause therapy, and undertake additional activities.
Charging the Device
The Implant can be periodically charged while at home. Each charging session is enabled by a portable charger which is placed over the Implant. Patients can move freely while charging is taking place.
Review Outcomes
Once initiated, therapy is provided automatically, without interaction from the patient or physician. The patient will discuss their treatment response with their physician during routine check-in visits where changes to dosing and schedules can be agreed.
